Don't give in to that lazy feeling
|Back from my 10 km run - tired but satisfied|
Felt very lazy on waking up this morning and I tried to convince myself that I should not go for my scheduled running (I run at least 3 times a week). Probably, I was under the delusion that since I was close to achieving my set goal, going off a day’s scheduled exercise wouldn't matter – you must watch and guard against this, as this is how we start slipping.
However, I tried and jolted myself off the couch and I almost gave up within the first 200 meters. But persistence saw me continue, and I ended up surprising myself as I eventually increased my distance and did a total of 10 Km run – my longest distance yet. Super excited!
