Progress update – 15 weeks into my journey – reviewing my set goals


Before
My journey to weight loss and a healthier me commenced earnestly on January 15 2013. My start off weight was 84.9kg (187 pounds) – see my posting on taking measurements.

My statistics were -  
           Arm: 13.5 Inches (35cm)
           Bust: 40 Inches (102cm)
           Waist: 41 Inches (104cm)
           Hips: 40 Inches (102cm)
           Thigh: 24 Inches (62cm)

My target was to lose 20kg (44 pounds) in five (5) months.


Current 
Am I being too ambitious? Well, without ambition one may not achieve anything.



How far have I come from the day, and am I close to reaching my goal?












Now wait for it – my weight today is



My current weight- 69.4kg (153 pounds)

I have just about 4.5kg ( 9.9 pounds) to attain my target weight and about 6 weeks to achieve that. I need to intensify my efforts at running and diet control.






My current statistics are -  
           Arm: 12 Inches (31cm)
           Bust: 36 Inches (92cm)
           Waist: 33 Inches (84cm)
           Hips: 37 Inches (95cm)
           Thigh: 22 Inches (56cm)

My exercises today consisted of:
  • Running – extended my distance to 8km. Feel so good.
  • Abdominal crunches
  •  Stretches
  •  Jumping jacks
  • Squats

For breakfast, I had a glass of pineapple and banana smoothie
