The weight refuses to drop - devised a change in plans

Just back from 12km run

Since my last weighing in report on May 3, I noticed that I have not really lost any more weight. Have I been complacent in my journey? The dangers exist that since I am very close to achieving my goal – need to lose under 5kg – I have either become complacent or my body is at that point that it feels comfortable and can absorb the exercises and diet control without losing weight.

What to do when confronted with such dilemma:



  • Review your exercise plans and include some targeted exercises – that is particular exercises targeting a specific area of your body where you feel the fat might be stored
  • Also review your diet

My plans:

  • I am going to start some serious abdominal exercises in order to cut the flab and firm up
  • I also plan to increase my running distance to 12 km
