From walking to running: Increased energy level

The 2nd month of my journey started off so well for me. By this time I had started running instead of jogging or walking. The energy level I had built up over the past weeks and the commitment came to play.
I did a 2km run on the first day. While this this may not mean much for established runners, to me, it was like completing a marathon. I must confess that at many points during the course of the run, I felt like reverting to walking, but knowing that I had set my goal, I jettisoned the idea. I was proud of myself!
I gave myself a treat: a small piece of dark chocolate. A lady deserves a treat once in a while!
