Weight Loss and Calories: You are what you eat
In
the course of my journey I started paying much attention to calories embedded
in the foods we eat. I realized that without cutting down on the calorie intake
one’s weight loss journey would not be realized. Take for instance a 100 grams
piece of fast food fried chicken has about 463 calories. Remember that it might
take you more than 1 hour of walking to burn out 463 calories.
Chose
your food wisely, and avoid animal fats as they have the most calories.
However, it is not every high calorie food that is bad, for instance, while 100
grams of peanut butter has about 588 calories, it is recommended for weight watchers
as it provides good cholesterol
