Losing weight: Is it easier for Men than Women?

The debate over who has an easier ride over losing weight between men and women seem to have been settled by science. According to some recent scientific study, men find it easier to lose weight through exercise and dieting. What this suggests, is that women need to work harder than men in exercising and dieting.

One of the factors that account for this ease is that, men are more muscular than women, and it is known that muscle has a higher metabolic rate than just fat. What this, therefore, suggest is that if women engage in more strenuous exercises like weight training, it will burn fat faster. Squats are also a very good way of losing weight for women as well as running.

So, the jury is out...women, get off your butt and start training hard!
