Most people have this problem of choosing the best time for their
exercise in order to get the best benefit out of it. While the important thing is that one gets off his/her butt to do some
exercise, if you have the option of choosing, then you may want to know this.
Various scientific studies carried out by experts in the field, have
shown that it is better to exercise on an empty stomach…that means before breakfast.
This leads to more body fat being burnt off. It also triggers a reduction in artery
clogging blood fats, thereby giving you more healthy benefits. The argument
here is that you use up stored fat for energy and in that case, you burn more
fat.
The above notwithstanding, when you don’t have the luxury of exercising
before breakfast, do so at your own convenience. Better to be doing something
than nothing at all. Remember also that consistency with your exercise and diet
is the key. Don’t expect fast results as you may be disappointed and quit early
in the journey.
